◎简　　介
　　　　汤姆经营着一家汽车配件厂，生意可谓是非常的成功。但随着身躯渐渐老去，汤姆知道是时候为公司找一个继承人了，而这个继承人就是汤姆的儿子汤米（布莱恩·丹内利 Brian Dennehy 饰）。可是，汤米是一个不学无术的死胖子，整天就知道吃喝玩乐，根本就不值得托付。就在汤米回到父亲身边没多久，汤姆就去世了，留下了铁面无私的理查德（大卫·斯佩德 David Spade 饰）来协助汤姆料理公司大小事务。                                    
    汤米和理查德最大的敌人是汤米的继母贝弗利（波·德瑞克 Bo Derek 饰），贝弗利嫁给汤姆完全就是为了霸占他的财产，而一直在身边假扮她的儿子的男人，实际上是她的情人。
